Tried this place the other day and I loved it. Where else are you going to have a delicious veal parmigiana and fettuccine alfredo with a roll for less than $20? Large servings too. Now, they are the sort of joint that reboils their noodles so they have been precooked. But do not let that stand in your way. They are fast and friendly. You order and five minutes later your food is ready. The place is clean and spacious. There are many different sauce and pasta combinations to try. The ravioli with the arabiatta sauce was nice and spicy. They sell fancy coffees and some nice looking desserts but we did not have room. I've been dining at Pastamore for the past 27 years, but my most recent meal, which included the Fusilli Cristina and Penne Michael, was the blandest I've ever had. The sauces used to be thick and creamy, bursting with flavor, but now they fall flat. The fusilli, in particular, didn't even taste like it was made in-house. The Cristina sauce is supposed to be a spicy rose meat sauce, but mine was watery, very light in color, and lacking any heat. Another major issue was that I couldn't taste or see any meat in my dish. I'm sorry, Pastamore; I used to love your food and how it set itself apart from other restaurants, but now it just doesn't feel special anymore.
It’s a casual dining place. Great for lunch or a quick bite for supper.. Mainly a pasta place., but they also have sandwiches (not gf) and salads. You can have your pasta with any of their sauces as they are gluten free. They have a dedicated pot, strainer and kitchen tools to avoid cross contamination. Your pasta is cooked in a separate area. Although it’s not a certified gluten free place, owner is celiac and therefore staff is knowledgeable. You can eat safely. They also have gluten free Italian dry products (cookies, pasta, crackers etc) and gluten free deserts (cheesecakes and sometimes tiramisu) A must try in the West Island!
Very disappointing as I am an Italian food lover know what authentic should taste like. Sad to see this being served quite frankly. Young girl on phone is nice but charged extras that we weren?t aware of having an extra fee which she should be asking before charging people. Both pastas were awful, sauces are WATERY, pre cooked typical chicken in alfredo, god awful. Same for Rosée, very watery lack of flavour. Sad that they call this ?Italian cuisine?. Farrr from authentic. Arancinis were ok, one they put the sauce on, for the second they didn?t?do not recommend!!!

I’m visiting from Ontario and I really wish this restaurant were closer! I had the chicken Parmesan and my partner enjoyed the chicken tortellini. It’s fantastic that they allow you to choose your pasta and sauce since not all places do that! The food was outstanding and the service was excellent; the staff were lovely people! Overall, it’s a great value for the money. The dessert and coffee bar is charming; unfortunately, we were so full from the delicious food that we didn’t have room for the beautiful desserts! I really wish you were located in Toronto!!!
The owners and staff are very knowledgeable about celiac disease. They have a dedicated stove and equipment for preparing gluten-free meals. All sauces are gluten-free. Just inform them that you have celiac disease, and they will guide you on what is safe to eat. They also offer gluten-free products for sale. I've dined here more than 30 times since my diagnosis, and I've had no issues whatsoever.
Apart from the delicious food, the customer service is astounding, especially Sabrina. Asked me questions to make sure that the pasta being prepared is to my liking. Also made sure that my take out order is right and warm after asking me if I am eating it right away, which I am! Thank you, Sabrina!
We were warmly welcomed and served by Sal, who provided excellent customer service with a classic diner atmosphere. The food was fresh and the pasta was homemade. We tried the arancini and a plate of tortellini rosé, both of which were delicious and had generous portions. Thank you, everyone!

It?s fast food pasta! Pay $13 dollars for an extremely generous portion of your choice of pasta and sauce. Quick service for lots of people. Not pretentious, not a Michelin star restaurant, but I love the concept!!
Only Pastamore had tortured our sons and they did a fantastic job. The staff was great and professional and the food was even better. I thank them and hope they continue with their amazing restaurant. Thank you.
