I've been coming here once a week for over 4 years now and the quality remains high consistently. I've tried all the others nearby and they never quite come up to scratch. The best reflection on the quality of the food here is that it's...always full of Vietnamese customers and that is a good advertisement. I usually always get pho tai and the meat is tender, lean, and paper thin. The broth has good flavour and although it is sometimes a bit fatty, most of the time it's perfect. The grilled beef and rice is beautiful: delicious flavours, tender meat, and incredible chicken broth. Staff are very warm and friendly and always take the time to talk with me for a few minutes.

I've been frequenting this restaurant over the better part of 15 or so years and it has always been my go-to whenever I had a craving for pho.Everyone used to (or still) raves about Pho An around the corner, but Pasteur was always my preference as I found the soup tastier. There have been a few changes over the years (management, portion sizes, prices, etc) but in my opinion, it's still the best pho in Sydney (but nowadays just barely).Try it out if you're in the area!

I have been going to this restaurant for about 15 years now, and it has always been my go-to spot for pho. While everyone else raves about the pho at nearby places, I have always preferred the taste of the pho at Pasteur. There have been some changes over the years in terms of management, portion sizes, and prices, but in my opinion, it is still the best pho in Sydney. I highly recommend giving it a try if you find yourself in the area!

We went to Pasteur on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews, the fact that An was closed for the New Year celebrations and there was a good number of locals dining there. We weren't disappointed with the meals. I went for the local rare beef with...tendons and other offal delights and it was great. My other half tried the chicken Pho and devoured it. Prices were around $12 each with drinks. Book a table now

Tried here today instead of Pho An as i got a park out the front. Wow lovely sweet salty broth and beautifully thin quality meat for the pho. I also got Gui cuon which was an awesome sized serving and the best peanut sauce with...chilli and fresh peanuts. Nice noodle house set up and this place rocks! Great find. Lovely family business. I took photos

I am here three times, twice thanks to bankstown bites (an annual food tour sponsored by thetown banks council) and once with a friend. and every time I have eaten, I would look at the average. the laksa is too hard to begin, I. think they put too much cocos milk. I think you're pretty embarrassed. her fried rice is very common.

I always go to Pho Pasteur for a satisfying meal. The food is always delicious and the service is great. The menu is diverse with more than just pho available. They also have tasty coconut juice. Overall, a fantastic dining experience that won't break the bank.

Always crowded which is a good sign but it's not my favourite Vietnamese Restaurant... Maybe it is too traditional I'm not sure because the Vietnamese all seem to eat there. I don't think their pho compares with The An and the meat is inferior quality Book a table now

This restaurant serves authentic pho with minimal MSG. I really enjoyed the roasted chicken and rice, as well as the grilled pork chop with broken rice. Definitely the best rice dishes in Sydney, hands down. And the prices are very affordable.
