My family has been enjoying meals at Pastina for thirty years. Even though we currently reside in Manhattan, we still make the trip for their incredible food! On my most recent visit, I had a cod dish that was absolutely exquisite—much better than what most restaurants in our Manhattan neighborhood offer. The ricotta cheesecake is also unbeatable. Throughout the years, our dining experiences have consistently been fantastic! Our neighbors in NYC don’t know what they’re missing. Thank you, Tina and the whole team!
This is the type of place your Jewish grandmother goes because you can get a cheep meal. It's very old school featuring uninspired food but, the service is very good. You get a small house salad with every entree. They had no problem taking care of a special request. Bottom line, this has seen better days. That is not to say if you and granny are hungry that she might like the pasta or chicken franchise.
I have been a loyal customer of Pastina's for quite some time. The food and service are top-notch. We recently hosted an office celebration at the restaurant, and everyone was impressed by the attention we received. Everyone raved about how delicious their meals were. Additionally, the menu offers a wide variety and is very reasonably priced for the quality of food served.
Came to celebrate a friends birthday the food was delicious and the service was amazing! The portions were perfect, and everything came out super hot.The atmosphere was friendly and casual but nice enough to feel like it was a fancy dinner.
