In this area, there is nothing quite like this restaurant. It is a necessary addition to the dining scene in this area. The food was good and we arrived near closing time, but the staff was very accommodating and allowed us access to the full menu. The hot corned beef and pastrami were delicious, although the rye bread could have been better - it was crumbling and the crust was too soft. The side of cole slaw was very small and came with a tangy dill pickle, but customers have to pay extra for a whole pickle if they don't want the smaller one. The half-sour pickle was overly soft and not crunchy at all. However, Richard's Deli has a wide variety of free pickles and condiments to choose from....
