So place is in the back room of a coffee shop. When walking buy coffee shop is closed and lights are off. Came in afternoon only had to wait about 5 mins to get seated. We ordered couple different drinks and they all were okay. Reason I give it a low rating because I feel like they are attempting to Scam customers. They automatically take 22 percent tip from your bill regardless of what kind of service you receive. But when the server brings the iPad to pay they have it pre set to to add an additional 22 percent tip on top of that. If you just quickly sign and don’t look at it you just have them 22 percent of the original bill and then when paying another 22 on top of that which is insane. M...

Average drinks specially because more than half of the glass is filled with ice and I don't think it is really worth $20 or upwards that they have priced."

If you're in New York and looking for a hidden gem, Patent Pending is a must-visit. This place embraces the genius of Nikola Tesla and other trailblazers who dared to break the mold. It's a cozy speakeasy that oozes innovation from every nook and cranny. The ambiance is simply electrifying, and the concoctions they whip up behind the bar are works of art. The friendly staff knows their stuff and makes you feel right at home. Don't be fooled by its unassuming coffee shop exterior during the day, because once the clock strikes 5pm, it transforms into a secret haven of creativity. The menu is ever-changing, and my first choice, the Radio Waves, had a tantalizing mix of spice and smoke, thanks to...
Pretty cool place , drinks are great and the fried chicken sandwich really excited my expectations. This place is on the smaller side so it fills up quickly. Id recommend making a reservation.Reason why I gave service a low rating is because they ended up billing me twice . I came back in to get it resolved and they were super friendly . But it is still not resolved and it is an annoyance that I should not be dealing with right now . At the time I was there , When I paid , it took them forever to give me my card back. Usually I don’t ask for receipt but since it took so long I said to myself “ I think something is gonna happen so I better keep my receipt” good thing I did .
The ambiance and hostess are the standout features of this restaurant. However, the experience falls short after that. The Korean chicken sandwich looked amazing in pictures and I couldn't resist ordering it. Unfortunately, the chicken was juicy and crispy but incredibly salty with lack of flavor. I was expecting a creative craft cocktail to impress my taste buds, but the $35+ price was fine with me for that experience. Disappointingly, I ordered two cocktails that did not meet my expectations. This restaurant may be a good choice if you're not concerned about the price. Book a table now
I absolutely loved this restaurant. You have to come here! My boyfriend works in IP law, so we were really excited to be here, but regardless, you are going to love it. The drinks are fantastic. Every time we asked to be surprised, everything was so delicious. We didn't try the food, but I can imagine it's not too shabby either. Our server, Jodi, was amazing and truly made our experience 10 times better. We will definitely be back when we come to NYC again!
Fantastic little speak easy bar behind the coffee shop, with probably the best thought out cocktail menu I have ever seen in my life. All inspired by Nikolai Tesla having pioneered the radio wave in the building above. The bartender was very good and extremely knowledgeable, asking me questions on my likes and dislikes and recommending what was, probably one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Many thanks, will sure be back if I am ever in NY again.
I had a fantastic experience at this speakeasy. You enter through the coffee shop and discover a large yet cozy bar setup hidden behind the walls. The drinks are delicious and creative - you can't make a wrong choice. I enjoyed the time I spent reading their menu, which pays tribute to Nikola Tesla. It's definitely worth a visit.
Located inside a coffee shop, this hidden gem offers a dark and ambient environment with great music. However, without a reservation be prepared for a long wait. The drinks start at $21 and the beer options are limited. Visiting this speakeasy is truly an experience, and the cocktails are worth trying. Book a table now
It may seem like just a regular coffee shop that closes at 10pm, but don't be fooled. The coffee shop is actually a front for a speakeasy in the back where we were served some amazingly intricate cocktails. I was so impressed by the complexity of the drinks that I completely forgot their names.
Place and vibes were good but not resembling to a speakeasy which I thought it was. Average drinks specially because more than half of the glass is filled with ice and I don't think it is really worth $20 or upwards that they have priced.

"Amazing NYC-style pizza! The best part is that it truly tastes great. Unlike some places that prepare their pizzas in advance resulting in greasiness, Pizza And makes each pizza to order. Plus, it’s very affordable! Service: Dine-in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We visited this restaurant for drinks and had a great time. The view was amazing, and we loved the cocktails. While it wasn't cheap, I believe it was worth it. This rooftop bar is the best one I've been to in NYC."
