We had been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time and finally went there for a family birthday dinner. For various reasons (birthday, recovery from illness, etc.), this evening meant a lot to us. We asked the server to take a picture to capture the moment and keep a good family memory...he agreed, took the photo, and told us it was "really excellent" after looking at it. He handed me back my phone and walked away. Here is the photo. With a bill of $500 for 5 people, I believe asking for the photo was not too much. It lacks class and is insulting.
Easily my best meal in Quebec City. We attempted L'affaire Est Ketchup, but they were full and recommend we go to Patente et Machin down the street. What a great place. The servers were great, so friendly, fun. The chef was something else. We had seats at the bar, best seats in the house by far, and the chef was in the zone, and created amazing meals! The bison is absolutely spectacular, and I would definitely have it again. My friends had the steak frites and the ragout, and those are also amazing. We left full and satisfied, and smiling.
This place was absolutely awesome, one my my favorite meals in Quebec. Very welcoming, party atmosphere with staff and all tables chatting and drinking together. Food was, in a word, on point. Best steak frites I’ve tasted in years. Neither my fiancé or I had ever tried sweetbreads before and it was scrumptious. I’d come again and again, and I’ll definitely tell anyone who visits Quebec to come here.
This place was amazing! Food was fantastic culinary experience that surprised and delighted. Staff and service provided is so cool and has a system that worked well! I highly recommend this spot for anyone visiting Quebec City. Remember to make a reservation although we did get lucky to find a spot at the bar section. Ambiance is hipster antique vibe with some rock n roll feel. Such a cool spot!

Delightful experience. Service was friendly and professional, courses perfectly timed. Menu organized by appetizers, mains, and large sharing platters. Carefully crafted dishes feature local seafood meat and veg. I recommend a seat at the bar to watch the magic unfold. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Quebec!
Absolutely loved it! Tiny spot with big heart. Unpretentious bistro with amazing food and wonderful staff. Highly recommend the dumplings. They taste like Christmas . Also throughly enjoyed the Carpaccio, Parmentier, and for dessert, Pudding Chomeur with cheddar ?? ?
The atmosphere is worth the detour, the food is breathtaking, remarkable!The wagyu, elk and pork, all work with respect for the product and on site. Hat ! Mansion special has adorable character Nicolas!
Saw these guys on Anthony Bourdain and it was nothing short of expectations, AMAZING! Recommend this place over Panache when visiting Quebec. The food was exceptional and so was the staff.
