From the moment I walked in, the aroma of fresHly bAked goods filled The air and immediately put a smile on my face.I was Greeted By The friendly staff who were more than happy to help me make my selections. I ended up trying a variety of pastries including a flaky croissant, a decadent chocolate éclair, and a creamy lemon tart. Each one was absolutely scrumptious and exceeded my expectations.In addition to the delicious pastries, the atmosphere at Patisserie Salzburg of Rye is simply delightful. After an amazing lunch at The Rye Grill our group decided to have dessert from Patisserie Saltzberg just steps away. I’m not sure when I encountered a more unpleasant counter person! Not just unfriendly but downright rude! The pastries purchased were not fresh but dry and tasteless! Many different choices were made so it wasn’t just one bad item. We were all so disappointed! The prices of everything were on the high side which would be acceptable if the quality matched the price tag but they did not! What a disappointment!
Came up to Rye from the City for lunch. Following lunch we stopped by Patisserie Salzburg to get my 6 year old daughter dessert. I tried to make friendly small talk with the older, short haired woman behind the counter, and she was SO nasty. It was incredibly awkward and uncomfortable. I decided we should just quickly pay and get out. After taking my payment, this woman essentially threw my daughter's dessert at me from across the counter. I honestly feel there is something wrong with her. We won't be back.
We were looking for some pastries on our way home and stumbled upon this cafe. It’s a charming little store with a fantastic variety of items, including cakes, cookies, bread, pies, and sandwiches. There are plenty of parking spaces right outside, making it very convenient to stop by. The lady there was incredibly patient and assisted us in choosing our pastries. We’ll definitely visit again!

The "Quiche Lorraine" was quite disappointing. I was expecting a traditional Quiche Lorraine with Swiss cheese, ham, and nutmeg, but what I got was different. Yes, there was ham, but it also had Cheddar and tomatoes. Please just call it what it is, rather than labeling it as Quiche Lorraine. Thank you for listening to my rant.
Delicious almond croissant. The capuchino is good and it would be better if it was really hotRecommended: Passion Fruit Mousse Cake, Opera Cake (Flourless Chocolate), Mixed Berry Tart.
consistently offers good food. I love mostly truthahn, speck and avocado sandwich. service is not always welcoming.
I absolutely love the staff! The food is an incredible 11 out of 10! There's really no reason to go anywhere else!
