Pat's Colonial Kitchen

Pat's Colonial kitchen is a cozy warm place to enjoy yummy food and catching up with friends. The staff is extremely friendly. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted by their staff and the owners. They make you feel welcome and part of the Pat's family. The servers are great at helping you figure out what you want to eat if you are struggling with a decision. The food is amazing and always cooked to perfection. The portions are generous, I am never able to finish my meal. When I am going out to breakfast with friends in Newtown, Pat's is my first choice. The atmosphere is welcoming and comfortable and my coffee cup us always full.

I was hopeful when I saw this place. I had some time to kill and was looking for a good place for breakfast. The coffee was just ok. I ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes with a side of scrapple. That was a mistake! The pancakes tasted undercooked, like the batter was still raw in the center. The scrapple was ok. The service was good. This is not a place I would go back to.

I called after we participated in the MS Walk to see if they could accommodate our team of 8 people. They could and did!! A short wait before we were seated, friendly, polite staff, excellent service and a delicious breakfast at a very reasonable price.

The establishment is situated in the core of the historic Newtown city center. The cuisine was satisfactory, and the service was adequate. However, we were able to be seated outdoors, and the ambiance was charming.

Everyone is very pleasant, quick service and the best quiche I’ve ever had!
