I had real high hopes for Pats and I was a little disappointed. I order a New York strip steak on a whim. It was a great cut of meat and cooked perfectly. However it wasn't very flavorful. My wife ordered the fillet which was better than my meal. We both ended up using steak sauce since our steaks just didn't have much flavor. I ordered Lima beans and fries which were good. On the whole I just don't feel like I ate a $45 steak. I could have got a steak of equal quality foot half that at some chain. Our Visit. My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Pat's during the World's Championship Horse Show. We were greeted and seated by Pat. The service and food were top notch....and well worth the price. Chris was our waiter and he, too, was top notch! We think Pat's is the best dining experience we've ever had in Louisville and regret that we did not know about Him sooner!!! WE will DEFINITELY go back!!!!
Outstanding!. I just had another wonderful meal at Pat's with my family. We celebrate every birthday at Pat's and everytime I go I say it couldn't get any better and somehow it does. Everything from the service to the food is the best in town. A big THANK YOU to Pat's Steak House for always making my families special occasions so memorable.
Best steak I have had in the past 10 years ago. The sides were excellent. The only inconvience is they do not take any credit cards but still have prices as if they were a First Class establishment. If the prices reflected their savings from not taking any credit cards I might understand the cash only policy.

Has been a tradition in my family for longer than I can remember. I was a vegetarian for many many years and the day my doctor told me I needed to eat meat again we went to pats. What a fitting return to steaks. Never disappoints.
I loved it! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and the steak was cooked to perfection! The atmosphere was very nice. It's pricey, but one of the few times I'd agree that it was worth it.
I want to preface this review by saying the customer service at this place is fantastic, all the way to the owner, Pat Very, very kind people.
