I visited the restaurant to buy cakes and pastries, but later realized that I had dropped my scarf there. I have called the restaurant three times on different days and times, leaving my contact information and asking them to call me back, but they have never answered the phone. It has been a week since then and I still have not heard from them. I am very disappointed, as I have been a customer there for about 30 years. I will not be returning to this restaurant again, and this experience reflects poorly on the Patterson brand.
I don’t know why I bothered going back to this place. The staff are rude. The barista in particular is extremely aggressive. The way he spoke to customers was so threatening that my wife told me she had to leave me there and would wait for me outside. In hindsight, I should have left as well, the coffee was average quality and the prices were well above anything else in the area. To the barista if you hate your job and the public, perhaps find another career.
We came across this cafe while entering the village and decided to give it a try. There were plenty of options for seating inside or outside. I ordered a coffee, a sparkling water, and a slice of Strudel. You place your order, pay, and then take a seat while they serve you. The counter offers a great selection of cakes and savory items to eat in or take away, along with drinks. Judging by the number of people coming through, it is definitely a popular spot.
I decided to stop by this restaurant for breakfast on a whim while driving past. It was bustling at 9am, with plenty of staff on hand to quickly serve us. They had a diverse selection of pastries and savory toasties to choose from. The seating area was spacious and could accommodate large groups. The atmosphere was cozy and comfortable. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would definitely return.

Worst coffee around St Ives! Gave Pattisons multiple chances and each time either coffee was not made to the order or tasted awful. Also found staff lacking in politeness. Do recommend coffee a few doors down from Pattisons.
New barista is woeful. He is totally unfazed by customers waiting and continues to be slow. After the long wait the coffee is disappointing. My coffee cup is never full. Changing cafes. Have given you lots of chances
Always enjoy a light lunch meal here, their range of sandwiches and other croissants and hot tempters is good and always enjoyable. Coffee is nice and pastries are terrific. The staff are also friendly and helpful
This patisserie would have to rate as having the most surly staff imaginable. The cakes are fair but expensive, the coffee ordinary and you can be guaranteed service with a grimace! What a shame!

This place has a large selection of both savoury and sweet treats freshly made. I like the tarts and have tried pies too. Can get a bit busy in the morning but worth it
