It's not Mexican food. It was the worst food I ever had! If I were a zero. The salsa was watered like the tomato sauce. I ordered a Chili Relleno and was told it had a fresh chili pepper When it arrived, it was wrapped in an egg that was fried like an Omelet There was no broken coating, the fried beans were stoned, the rice tasted like it was burned and scraped off from the bottom of the pan. My brother ordered a Chili Verde Burrito, it was just as bad, the green sauce was like a tasteless, tasteless, lukewarm. The only thing that might have been okay was our dinner salads, but they forgot the so never know, Save your money!!!

Paula?s is a St. George classic. I?ll be honest, if you?re looking for authentic Mexican food with bold and unique flavors you?re best to go somewhere else. However, you have to consider that Paula?s is a 1970s Mexican restaurant in a small Utah town that probably had no other Hispanic food when it was built. It?s kitschy but full of history and good people. The service is always excellent and the view is fantastic. I love the food (probably because I grew up eating it), despite it being very basic. For a lot of people in St. George, visiting Paula?s is a tradition. I make it a point to visit Paula?s whenever I?m in town.

Chips were hard I ask the waitress if she had softer chips that she brought us so much more, but they were the same, the chicken in paula's special was hard to chew. Was very disappointed by our meal, it was my birthday dinner was looking forward to the meals we used to be there, but not this time.

You can definitely say that the food is made by white people. Food was beyond the Bland and they don't serve alcohol either. A Mexican restaurant that doesn't serve alcohol??? PFFFTTT!!! They're in a city where locals wouldn't know Mexican cuisine to keep this place open.
