This restaurant recently reopened after a renovation and change of management. I went with a few friends and wanted to try everything. The chicken and biscuits were off the hook good. Used to be a well maintained restaurant/business. Madi (one of the assistant managers) is a caring, goal oriented and outstanding manager. Definitely need more like her. The workers are young and inexperienced, except for a few. A couple of years ago this restaurant was amazing with a well structured environment and properly trained employees. We stopped in yesterday afternoon after a day of Bass Pro and Sam's Club shopping and so glad we did. Blackened Gator bites were awesome. I had the Gulf Shrimp garicqued and it was so good. Drinks were good as well as service. Just visiting here another week but planning to go back again. Update: we made a plan to go back in Sunday for another meal. My goodness. I don't know what this place was like prior to them reopening for business last week but my food was sooo good! The fried chicken sandwich I had was so fresh and flavorful! I mean even the bun was buttered and grilled perfectly. The “seasoned” fries weren't so much but the sandwich was good enough to make me forget about them.

Once again fogot to take a pic of the food. Cheesy fundideaux was great; the poutine never fails. For entree the chick&beans and braised short ribs were amazing. Finished up with lemon ice box pie. Couldn't have made a better choice for datenight with the wife.
Very good! Loved the complimentary pork skins and cotton candy for the kiddos! Food was excellent! Will be back.

Everything I have had has been excellent but the chicken and waffles are the best.
