We ordered the satay prawns, satay chicken, Mongolian beef and steamed rice. The dishes were big and we couldn't finish them. I had the beef and it was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. We were a little daunted by the pricing - but, hey it's Cairns right? It is to be expected. But wow the portion sizes matched the pricing. Really good sizes - 1 main + rice will feed a couple nicely. Really tasty and some of the best Chinese food we have had in ages.Also, we ordered the Steamed Pork Buns for an entree. The waiter came back out from the kitchen and apologised that they had just sold out. Shows that they are not frozen, but made fresh and and only have a certain number of portions. This restaurant is a hidden gem for locals, away from the tourist area but definitely worth seeking out. The food is plentiful and tasty, and the restaurant is always full of locals, so it's a good idea to make a reservation for Friday and Saturday nights. Takeout is also very popular here. The decor has a traditional Australian Chinese restaurant feel, reminiscent of "Muriel's Wedding." I have visited several times and have always had a fantastic experience.
Went on TripAdvisor reviews and not disappointed. Authentic looking with seperate entrances for takeaway and restaurant. Had 4 courses and very happy with quality and taste. Waiter was attentive and friendly, it was a quiet night but all our meals were well spaced. Plenty of off street parking. The Honey Pork and Satay Beef made the night.

Very surprised. Venue easy to access. Restuarant was very welcoming. Spacious inside and very tastefully decorated. Staff were attentive but not in your face. Menu wasnt the normal four pages that covered everything. Theirs was easy to read, all dishes explained. Food was well presented, tasty, plenty of it and HOT. Would I come back? YES.
Just had a takeaway the Sweet and Sour pork was all batter and though it out the chicken and cashew was bland and nuts soft fried rice was not fried been there 3 time but never again it was **** for $76.00 buck. Terrible
It is highly advisable to make a reservation in advance to secure a table, but it is definitely worth it. The service is fantastic and the food is incredibly tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Even though I'm a local it was my first time eating at this restaurant. The food was fresh, delicious and reasonably priced but the service was slow and the lighting was very poor.

We ordered take away from here last night, the meal was delicious, a little pricey but worth it for the quality of the food...we definitely recommend.
This Cantonese restaurant's yumcha selection is a bit limited, but the taste is quite good and reminiscent of establishments in Melbourne.
