We both ordered Fish chips and man....was it amazing...! You get a very generous amount of food on your plate and the homemade tartaric acid sauce it excellent. The fish is so incredibly delicate and fresh that, as we have thrown our lunch, we both said we could have eaten a third piece of fish. It was not oily at all and the taste was amazing. I love coming to this place for Fish Tacos at least once a month! For $17, you get a plate of delicious Pilaf rice and two fish tacos with soft flour tortillas and grilled tilapia, along with a choice of spicy or mild sauce. The portion size is generous and the atmosphere is relaxed, with a few tables available for dining in the fish market. They offer a variety of hot sauces and serve meals in a basket with plastic utensils. You order at the counter, seat yourself, and grab a drink from the fridge. You pay after you eat. We will definitely be returning!
Pêcheur is the absolute best fish market in the entire city! They only serve the best quality fish and I always feel clean and healthy after eating there. In addition, the staff is very knowledgable and helpful. You can either pick up your fish and...cook it at home or have an amazing chef cook it for you live on the spot. I eat there every week during the year and always buy food for the family during the holidays. The salmon, shrimp tacos, crab cakes, calamari, fish and chips are all personal favorites. I love pêcheur!
I have been a regular patron at Pêcheur du marché for the past year, and I must say that I always eagerly anticipate my weekly visits to this establishment. The quality of the food, the unique menu offerings, the excellent service, and the welcoming staff have never failed to impress me. My wife and I went there yesterday and stood at the back counter and listened to 4 guys talk about the hockey game,they completely ignored us,we were the only ones in the store.When my wife got closer to the counter the guy turned his back....We stood there feeling stupid for at least 3 mins.I know it doesn't sound long.....we were AT!! the counter! unreal never going back lot more fish in the sea (LOL! .Went to Jukebox and had burgers! They seen us!
I wanted to buy fish on a regular basis. I began weighing my purchases at home and found out that a lobster I thought was 2 pounds was actually only 1 3/4 pounds. I then noticed other weight discrepancies with different types of fish I purchased. The quality of the fish was good, but I would recommend double-checking their scales.
Ordered lobster to eat at home with friends. They boiled them for me and even suggested to crack them for me. Great service, very helpful. The also have a wonderful selection of fish and other seafood I bought taramasalata and it was delicious. You can...take out or eat in a variety of dishes. All delicious!
Took and fish and chips, and a fried calamari to share, the portions are huge and the food is great( not too oily and fresh) will definitely be going back to try more things on their menu!!!!

Bought salmon to make tartar, very fresh. Also some scallops which were amazing. Service was great the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
I have had lunch here several times always trying new fish's. Always served with a smile very good.
