"Was visiting Philly from DC and had the opportunity to stop into this place. Best coffee I've ever had in my entire life. I think I actually got a latte, either way, it was amazing. Plus the staff and neighborhood folks were warm, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you!"

Terrible experience—shocked by the barista’s rude and aggressive service. I went in yesterday to grab a cup of coffee and ordered my iced latte with less milk. Some coffee shops in Philly calls it iced cappuccino and others get confused when I order iced cappuccino so I just asked for less milk. The barista told me he doesn’t get what I mean by less milk in an extremely rude way. He then aggressively made coffee, so obviously frustrated and mumbling how he doesn’t get what I’m saying at all. He gave me my coffee and told me “that’s called cappuccino.” I’m honestly shocked by the service I got for getting my coffee menu wrong—which was totally fine at other coffee shops and I tried to explain...

Wow. Just when I thought I knew what great coffee was. I walked in here on Friday morning before my stroll around the museum. The line moved pretty quickly and before I decided between my ice cappuccino or a latte I was warmly welcomed by the gentleman behind the counter. He could tell I was stalling and while more people were walking in behind me I just ordered off the menu and made it simple. I said I wanted an latte and add chocolate. The guy kindly informed me that what I was thinking about was just called a mocha. This was the best F’n mocha I’ve ever had and tipped him the twenty dollar bill I found earlier on my walk to get coffee before my museum stroll. He was so nice and totally ho...

Somebody said best coffee in there life, they must have never had good coffee. I really wanted to give this place more stars so I kept going back to see if my experience would get better, unfortunately it never did. The coffee taste like dirt mixed with water, I’ve tried a few diff types and it never gets better. The establishment is old and antique like but very dreary and smells so like a moldy basement.

The spicy chai latte with oat milk is one of my favorite fall drinks. They are consistent with the foaming of the milk and flavor of the chai (which is housemade). They also have a few pastries and granola bars. You can order in the coffee shop or on Ritual for pick-up. Baristas are friendly and helpful. There are a few seats inside the café if you wish to stay and enjoy your drink but not many.
