I still love Peet's, but the quality of drip coffee at this location has gone downhill since they hired a new manager awhile ago (1-3 years ago). The dark roast is rarely strong like at other locations, and they almost never offer the staples that I love (House Blend, Major Dickenson's, French is ok). The food selection is usually less reliable than other locations, as well. The other day I ventured to try a new flavor of dark roast (Sumatra is at least worth drinking, unlike the chocolate roasts which are almost always brewing at this location), and the creamer was out. The best coffee in the world. Here served with Berkeley savoir faire. Great outdoor seating. The first time I tried something called Cuban Cappuccino. Not sure on how authentic it is but it sure was good.
