What a fantastic local gem! After attending a wake at the funeral home, my family was in search of a good place to eat, and we discovered Peggy Dempsey's. They offer a wonderful variety of dishes at reasonable prices. The food was exceptional, and our waiter was incredibly attentive. Surprisingly, it turned into a lovely experience after such a somber occasion, so we decided to come back the next day after the funeral. Even though we arrived a little early before they officially opened, they graciously welcomed us and served us delicious food once again. The tall woman with the curls behind the bar was unwelcoming to our group. Felt like leaving with my friends, but they insisted on giving this place a chance. Still felt uncomfortable at this establishment afterwards though.
