In the past Pei Wei has not let us down…delicious food nice portions, today was a different story. I ordered on the App for 5:15 pm I got there at 5:10 thinking it will be hot…the two orders I picked up were sitting there which I’m thinking for awhile since it wasn’t hot to the touch. Both of us tried the “new” Fire Cracker Chicken, I looked in both bags which felt very light I wanted to be sure it was the correct order…mostly rice with six small pieces of chicken the rest was very tiny pieces of just breading. My wife is gluten free. She ordered from Uber eats and when we received her order, there was no gluten free sticker on the container so we didn’t know if it actually was gluten free or not. She called multiple times, trying every possible extension to talk to someone (pickup order, catering order, speak to someone). No one answered. She sat on hold for 30+ minutes just to see if anyone would ever pick up… no one did. I also tried and could not get through to anyone. By the time I was so fed up I was going to drive up so I could actually talk to a human, they were 5 minutes away from closing. What’s the point of having a phone number if you don’t answer? Wonton soup didn’t taste good and a wonton had something hard and inedible in it. White rice was dry and seemed like leftover from previous day, not fresh. Some kind of weird chopped mushrooms spread over the top of the chicken lo mein which was not appetizing. Haven’t ordered from here in over a year and likely won’t ever again.
I ordered take out. The place did not complete my order. It was suppose to be done at 5:34. I stayed there for 30 minutes. Then the worker told me my order wasn’t there. He didn’t offer to take my order. I showed the confirmation email and proof of purchase. Never offered a refund or to make my order for me right then and there.

Ordered our food a little before 6:30. They said it would be ready a little before 6:50. Got there and stood in a line of 10 people (one guy said he’s been waiting since 5:30). They didn’t make almost anyone’s food and everyone had to leave because it was now 8:00 and they were now closed.
Love the abundance of vegan options but they made my tofu order with chicken! So after I spit that out they kindly remade it correctly but it wasn’t very flavorful. Won’t recommend to a friend nor be back.
I LOVE Pei Wei. I LOVE that they have vegan options and I ADORED the slim crispy tofu and they suddenly changed to big chewy cubes which is FINE but the thin pieces were SO amazing. Why change??
The cashier was very knowledgeable about foods that were allergen friendly. She was very nice and paAs always everything tasted wonderful.
