By the time we got to Merida, during the second half of our Spain trip, we were tired of Spanish jamon and Moroccan food, and heavy meat dishes in general. We were excited to see a Chinese restaurant, but were apprehensive about the quality of food. The entire time we were there, only one couple ate at the restaurant, so they probably don 't get a lot of business. We were waited on by a teenager whose Spanish was difficult for my daughters to follow, but who didn 't know English. So we did a lot of menu pointing. The waitress wasn 't particularly polite and never smiled. She always yelled at the other people when communicating; maybe that 's how it sounds to us when they speak Chinese. But t...
