I was extremely disappointed with the chicken satay skewers. They were the worst I’ve ever had. I usually have these from Happy House because their chicken is very tender and the sauce is really delicious thick and peanutty. However the chicken last night was very tough (in fact I could not even bite through it) and the sauce was awful very thin, dark and overly sweet with just a slight hint of the taste of peanuts. Very disappointing. I almost ordered two portions and am so glad I didn’t. There was lots of sauce on the beef in oyster sauce which is good but I would have preferred a slightly richer, thicker sauce and more meat. It was very nice egg fried rice but chicken was not crispy and it was mushy as if it has been in lemon and orange sauce for a long time, my wife also did not like the consistency of the chicken.....
Such a shame this place as gone down hill. Ended up in hospital with food poisoning and have now been in touch with the powers that be to inspect their premises
Best Chinese we have found around here. very good meat and tasty rice and noodles. 5*
