My husband and I visited this restaurant for lunch a few days ago on Monday. Despite the crowd, we were seated promptly. We both opted for the all-day breakfast brunch with chips and a cup of tea. The chips were deliciously hot, but the rest of the meal was just warm. Our total bill came to £19.84, which I believe is a fair price for pre-made food.
Firstly, the wait staff was excellent - friendly and efficient, deserving of a raise! However, the food was disappointing. Our experience today was marred by cold and greasy dishes that left me unprepared for my night shift. To make matters worse, my drink came in a glass with lipstick marks and was foggy. This is unacceptable.
We went in for a small celebratory tea and were not disappointed. We only had to move tables once, because the floor was vibrating beneath the first. The food came quickly and was really nice. The atmosphere in the place was good. It was easy to park just up the road. All in all, we were impressed.
Ordered small beans on toast. Sent straight back. Almost cold beans and toast not toasted, more like a slice of bread. Girl came back with another, toast still barely toasted and beans heated separate she said!! Luke warm! My partner had eggs Benedict and they were hard boiled. Avoid for breakfasts
