Visited Penleys Café mid-afternoon, avoiding the lunchtime rush. Very relaxed atmosphere, felt homely with friendly, helpful staff. Great selection of food, but being lunchtime I went for a club sandwich and chips. Wow, what a meal that turned out to be. Finished off with a gorgeous home-made carrot cake. Absolutely delicious fare at a very reasonable price. I live some 50miles away but anytime I 'm in this area this lovely cafe will be my top choice for refreshment. Well done Penleys, and thank you.
Absolutely outstanding service all around! I dined here for brunch, and the experience was fantastic. The price per person ranged from £10 to £20, which I found very reasonable. The food was simply exquisite, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, also deserving a 5. As for the atmosphere, it was delightful and received a 5 as well. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!
Lucky enough to spend a few nights with friends in Dales. Penleys did the catering and I have got to say they absolutely smashed it out of the park. Every course was beautiful but the main was probably one of the best meals I have ever had (steak). I still do not understand how the steak was cooked to perfection as it was as they had to stage it. 100% recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Visiting Richmond went into Penleys. Staff friendly and welcoming, was very clean, qseated straight away. (there is seating upstairs. Had the quiche and salad, the quiche was amazing, absolutely gorgeous, had a lovely crispy top WOW.!! Looking around at other tables and all the food looked beaut to. Well worth the visit.
