Let's start by saying that these subs are overpriced. Feeding a family of 4 with 3 mediums and one large sub came to just under 50 dollars. This was without any double meat, any chips, fries or sodas.... just the sandwiches.A medium is a 9 inch sub, where for the same price you could get a 12 inch sub at the competition.I don't call the competition name. Directly, but I am sure 100 percent that you know who that is.Now that the price is out of the way, let's talk quality. Wow is all I can say. I placed an order and paid online today thinking I ordered it from the Lake St Louis location to pick up. When I got there they did not have my order and I realized I ordered it from the Ofallon location, totally my mistake. Rather than driving all the way over there I reordered and paid another $12 and decided I’d call them after to see if they would refund it. When I called over there I was told I needed to cancel it through the app and the person just hung up. Since I didn’t order it through the app, I was unable to cancel the order and thought they were probably busy and I’d call back later when it wasn’t lunch time. I had really great service at Penn station. One of my subs accidentally had something in it and instead of just placing that half of my sub they replaced the entire sub free of charge. On top of that they gave me a voucher for a free sub next time I come by. I just want to say thanks to Calvin and his crew. They went above and beyond. I'll be back soon!
The sub was super greasy. The fries were good. The worst part is half of my sub fell on the floor after the worker put it on the edge of the table in front of all the other crew and didn’t even offer to make me a new one. I threw it away along with the 14 dollars I spent on it. I’ll stick with jersey mikes from this point on. Book a table now
The hours on the door say they are open until 10. However, the 3 kids standing around at 9:30 already had everything shut down and didn’t want to serve me. Teenagers shouldn’t be able to run food establishments. Most of them give the worst service! Won’t come back. I’ll make sure to spread the word also!
I came in to the shop to get a sub, the staff was warm and welcoming. I got a Philly with lettuce, tomato and mayo (my personal favorite) with their great fries. Everything was hot and made quickly to order. Highly recommend stopping in!
For some reason my whole grain bread always feels stale and hard at this location specifically. The employees don't seem particularly interested in being there either.
