We visited the Penny Farthing every morning for our full English. There were 3 choices of Farthinng, Penny and Shilling which determined the size of the breakfast. We really enjoyed it and so did many others as the place was very well attended, even at 9am!
Had full English medium (called the Penny). It was ok, portions a little small. Only complaint was the toast, it was warm bread. Next time ask for toast well done. Price fair, service good.
Warm lager, inedible roast potatoes, tough beef, dry powdery stuffing On the small positive side the chicken was perfect and the service was good. Won 't be going back.
