Delightful Peoria Café exudes a charming Midwest atmosphere typical of family-owned establishments. They offer a variety of sandwiches and specialty fish fries on Fridays, along with an impressive breakfast menu that is sure to satisfy even the heartiest appetites—all at fair prices. The portions are generous, the place is clean, and the staff goes above and beyond with their friendliness and helpfulness.
The fish fry was awesome, however they jacked the price up, the fish pieces are way smaller and the all you can eat has been restricted to 6 pieces. What a rip off. Now they charge for extra tartar sauce, which is half full of an already small container. Used to get 2 per plate, now it's just half of one. This was a weekly trip for fish fry for many years, now I will never go back.
Friday fish fry still tastes great. Service, owner cut hours, they close at 7pm. And atmosphere felt off. Half the dining room was closed off and guests crammed into open half. Last but not least price of the order increased exponentially. SMH restaurant is slowly sinking into non existence.
Great little Cafe! I enjoyed my breakfast, but others in my group had things that looked incredible and are on my list to try. The Croissant breakfast sandwich and the cinnamon rolls both looked amazing. Book a table now
The service is excellent, and the food is hearty with generous portions. Their homemade hot sauce is the best I've ever had. The atmosphere feels just like being in my mom's kitchen at home.
I love Peoria Cafe. All the staff is awesome. Very attentive. They make sure you have full drinks. The waitress makes sure you have everything you need. Service is quick.
