A small but adequate eatery with good home cooked food for a reasonable price. The diner is clean and tidy with a small bar area, at least tables inside and x tables outside. The Large Breakfast, eggs, bacon rashers, tinned tomatoes, black pudding, hash brown, mushrooms, baked beans and a slice of toast), Chicken Fillet Burger (it was a proper chicken breast burger, moist and tasty) with chips and a salad dressing, Homemade Shepherds Pie and peas, Lemon Fanta, glasses of wine
I never had a bad meal here. the staff is always friendly, eating is just as expected and a great choice to very cheap trips. very sad to see it is for sale as it is a consistently good place to visit for many years.
Great food and drinks. Staff very friendly and helpful. Overall, a great atmosphere, in a small, family run, café bar. Need to book for Sunday lunch and some evening meals, due to limited space, but worth the effort.
