Our last night here I ordered lasagne and my husband ordered leg of lamb mine was obviously microwaved as got colder the deeper i went and my husbands was literally frozen in the middle! we sent his back so i continued with mine sometime later they brought his same leg back out!! we refused to pay for it and sent it away they then gave us the bill including charge for bread which we didn’t ask for or eat and 2.10 euros for tiny bottle of water!!!! Thanks for ruining our last night!!!
At the best location next to the sea and beach, and 5 minutes from Almunecar center, this restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating serves great Spanish food and pizza. The tapas served with your order of drinks are good and the service even better. Meny in Spanish, English and French. I got paella with seafood (including a whole lobster), tuna Tatar, prawns pill pill and fried octopus at my two visits. The price is very affordable and I will definitely recommend this place.
We stopped for drinks on our way back from town. Small glass of white wine was good and the beer was OK. Tapas was a small plate of fried potatoes with some quite stale thin white bread, nothing special. Never got a tapas with our second drink which was unusual and the staff although not friendly were indifferent. Not sure we would bother to have a proper meal here. 16€ for 2 small beers 2 small wines and a bottle of water.
We stopped in as part of Almunecar 's 3rd annual Ruta de la Tapas. After bringing us a regular house Tapas of couscous and fried sardines they brought out their special ruta concoction called fusion Gondolas , chicken strips on a tortilla with a sauce. It was very nice and all you had to pay for was the drinks. Can 't wait to go back. Book a table now
My family visited the restaurant and had a caprese salat, spagetti bolognese, chicken Curry and a Spear with grilled chicken. The caprese had a rotten tomatoe and the grilled chicken was raw. The children did not like the spagetti which has never hampend before. So the overall experience was very poor food and a bad experience.
We visited on the evening of the fiesta before the fireworks. The restaurant was buzzing and we had table for 8. Pizzas were good, pasta carbonara delicious, salad good and all in all good value for the family.

Lovely friendly waiters. Food very average. Produce not very fresh. Pizza's dry. Eggs were off. Nice place for a coffee or drinks.
