A modest little restaurant off a main street in Tonneins, with a sign board on the corner and in good weather there are tables outside under an awning. Inside it's cosy and intimate with a faintly Italian décor. The pizzas are good but the main draw is the lunchtime menu at 12.50€ for three courses with wine and coffee : a generous help- yourself buffet, a choices of several dishes of the day or a pizza and a dessert selection (again, help yourself) which is the best I have ever seen at this price range. The service is swift and efficient and the wine perfectly acceptable. It's a bargain at this level and the food is always well cooked. A real find for a very reasonable price.
