We have chosen Pepper Shaker as our favorite spot for breakfast/brunch on Saturday mornings. We adore the cozy and nostalgic atmosphere that makes us feel like we've traveled back to the 1960s. The food is always freshly prepared and I particularly enjoy the frittatas. The menu offers a good variety and the homemade croutons are a must-try. The owners are very kind and hands-on, and the staff, some of whom have been there for years, are fantastic. The welcoming vibe makes everyone feel like family, with patrons being known by their first names. I sometimes wish they would update the menu, but overall, I eagerly anticipate my weekly visit. In my opinion, it is the best breakfast spot near Ful...

This is my first time here at the Pepper Shaker. Having said that, I ordered the 'special '...Stuffed Bell peppers.....omg...all authentic. The meat and rice mixture was perfect. The mashed potatoes fresh. I ordered the iced tea...again, freshly brewed! Let 's go back to the bell peppers..no ketchup on them! The true European way..as I 'm originally from Europe, I 'd know that. My husband ordered the chorizo and eggs breakfast and even that was fantastic! The rice pudding...again..omg....fresh. I have absolutely no complaints. The beef noodle soup was delicious. It 's a shame that this restaurant is not in Portland Oregon! The service is beyond amazing! If you complain, you are unsatisfiable...

Their cupcakes and mini cupcakes were a big hit at the offices I took them to and the staff are great about pairing bookings with napkins, crockery etc. They very much wrote kitchen reservations in short order. I usually don't stop and eat but they pack quickly and take away the reservation. The breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal, and espresso are all always good and the pressed chicken, bacon and brie with caramelized onions on a French baguette is the best sandwich I've ever had!

Old school diner. I love this place because it feels like it’s right out of the 70s. Food is exactly what you’d expect and at a good price too. Skip Dennys and IHOP and go here.
