Not off to a good start from the beginning. Made a reservation for my husband 's 50th, wanted it to be special so I decided to take him here as I was told they have spectacular views and fantastic food. We arrived 5 min prior to our reservation (last weekend of May), we were told they didn 't have our table ready and to sit at their bar and order a drink while we waited for our table. Ordered a glass of wine and an old fashioned. My husband was in shock, the bartender was using a used carafe to pre-measure the wine and then poured it in his drinking glass, take in mind that as we sat at their bar, they were using the same carafe without rinsing it, so you get remains of whatever other wine t...
Mediocre and underwhelming is how I would describe this establishment. I wouldn 't consider this fine dining The staff was nice but them cooking most of the meals on the dining area feels very tacky. Food was extremely disappointing. Beef Wellington was probably the worst I 've ever had. Lamb chomps, an absolute disaster, the whole plate was covered in a thick bbq like sauce. Caesar salad was soggy and oily, no crunch, tasted like dirt. Food was just not good, at least for the price that it is. It's a lovely place. Food was lovely, service was lovely, but I really wasn't wow'd.... not for what I paid. I've had meals just as good that were more affordable with more engaging service. The experience was just.....meh. The pepper steak and steak Diane were fine. I would have been perfectly content to have them prepared in the kitchen rather than tableside just because the chef wasn't engaging. The house salad dressing was really lovely. The charcuterie board was adequate but didn't knock my socks off. The sides were boring. Don't bother with the Bananas Foster. It was really boring. Just generally an acceptable but boring and over-priced experience.
Highly disappointed. First time ever to this establishment, and the first thing noted, was a dated, cramped, and drafty dining room. (Great view though if you have a window table). Staff was friendly enough, but the overall service was very mediocre. Waited 8 minutes once we were seated for anyone to introduce themselves, or ask what we’d like to drink. In between, the order was botched, and in the end, the wait was nearly 15 minutes for the desert order. Maybe if this was a run of the mill steak house, I’d get it. You get what you pay for right?!…..I always like giving a business a second chance, but at a bill closer to $300, I might pass on this. Book a table now
We came here for my Brother-in-Law's birthday, and had a positively lovely evening. We arrived a little early for our reservation, so we sat at the bar and ordered cocktails while we waited. The cocktails and wine list were excellent. The meal itself was fantastic. We loved the tableside service, and my sister (who is vegetarian) said the vegetarian escargot were fabulous. The highlight of the meal was the view over the Springs as the sun set. A great, intimate choice for a family celebration.
The house salad is great, and so is the house made Blue Cheese. The angel hair pasta is better than the scalloped potatoes. The steak Diane was fantastic and it may have been the best steak I have ever eaten.
From the minute we got there, it was wonderful. I loved the look and feel. The food was delicious, the wait staff was attentive, and we never felt rushed. We will definitely be going back.
Had the Pepper Steak and the Bananas Foster, genuinely one of the best meals of my life and our tableside chef was amazing and hilarious! He knows his craft and how to put on a show! Book a table now
My husband got the pepper steak, I got the Diane steak. Both were fabulous, service was incredible. A great place to treat yourself too! Highly recommend!
