When I ordered from them I expected that it would be an easy in and out process, yet when I arrived they bumped up the time it would to take to prepare my order on the app. While that is reasonable because it was busy, when I went in they told me that they where out of meatballs and refunded me for the item, that is no big deal. But when they finally gave us our order they didn’t even have the sense to give us utensils or napkins. Thus we asked for them to give us them and they did but after they went and got the order of someone on the other side of the diner, and the whole time we where having this interaction the person who was “helping us” was giving us a plain nasty glare. The manager or host in the front didn’t greet us, just took our card and proceeded to talk to other guest. They seemed to treat us very differently than others not sure why! In addition to the horrible service please believe the other recent reviews the food comes out fast with no flavor, sloppily overcooked. 1.5/5 for food and I’d say 0/5 for service as they don’t treat people equally here. I do want to make it clear our server was very nice it was the manager who made it such a horrible experience. 100% do not recommend. There are other great options in the area with better food and really amazing service.
Breakfast was okay, I ordered the crab cakes benedict. $23 out the door for tip plus coffee and benedict. I generally feel Summit Diner serves up a better crab cake, these felt overdone and very crispy. Enjoyed the service, regular coffee fills and good seating with a nice diner ambiance.Food: 3/5
The food was served hot and the French fries were crispy, which is not always the case with takeout. This restaurant exceeded my expectations compared to some pricier places I've ordered from before. The service was also fast. Book a table now
This diner is ok. It's very clean which I greatly appreciate. The food is fine, but it's kind of bland. It's a bit pricey, but I guess the town supports the prices. Coffee is marginal nothing fancy.Food: 4/5
The Breakfast Wrap was delicious. Nothing necessarily special about it.... cheese, egg, and bacon. But dang it sure hit the spot!
