We absolutely loved our meal here the food was truly excellent! It was a quieter night with no live music when we went but I can imagine the atmosphere would have been amazing on one of their live music evenings! We started with sourdough bread, balsamic dip and olives and they were all really tasty. The bread tasted really, really fresh. For mains we had chicken saffron and beef baked in a yoghurt, ginger and pepper sauce. Both dishes were absolutely delicious the meat was so tender and the sauces were packed full of flavor. The highlight however was the desserts chocolate fondant torte and a raspberry and hazelnut meringue gateaux. The combination of fresh raspberries and Chantilly cream a...
Absolutely fabulous evening with culinary extravagance. We visited Peppers with family and friends to celebrate our friend’s birthday. The olives with balsamic dip were excellent starters, the fish was superb, ratatouille was excellent and the lentil loaf with balsamic red wine sauce sealed the deal. Our refreshing Kumeu chardonnay experience was decorated by the owners Myles and David who shared exciting stories of life and music over a glass of red from backpacking to Buckingham Palace. All of this with the finest of jazz in the background. What an absolute treat! Thank you.
There is no doubt that the kitchen staff can cook, we were pleased with the cuisine. However, service could be friendlier and faster...we waited more than an hour between starter and main course, which is not acceptable, especially as there was no explanation for the delay or apology. We didn't see the waiter who was concentrating on the main dining area...it was like we had been forgotten. Limited opening times, but potentially a great restaurant if waiting staff could show a bit more enthusiasm and attention.
Lovely meal , short menu but for us that implies everything is homemade as stated. Bread , olives and balsamic dressing and King Prawns to start both excellent. Polish Meatballs Parmigiana special for mains we tried both the garlic cream potatoes and Chips the chips were double fried and cooked to perfection. The special dessert of hazelnut raspberry meringue was pretty spectacular. Art on the walls , Jazz playing in the background , lovely food perfect evening Book a table now
Peppers is one of our favorite restaurants for several reasons. The food is superb and the service is terrific. Mykala is my favorite waitress. She is high energy and has a wonderful personality. I always leave with a smile on my face after spending time at one of her tables. The restaurant attracts wide array of clients and the atmosphere is very welcoming. Try Peppers for a top notch dining experience. You won’t be disappointed.
The owner very kindly found us a table at the last minute and we are so glad that he did. We are real foodies and this art gallery and restaurant was a real find. The food was beautifully cooked and by far the best we’ve had for a while. It is a family business and both Father and son were interesting and charming. It’s such a joy to find excellent cooking rather than pretentious second rate food. Thank you
Thankyou so much for a wonderful Saturday lunch Chicken Saffron with Dauphonise Garlic Potatoes accompanied by a glass of delicious white wine. Highly Recommended. Will definitely be back if next in Fishguard was worth making a special journey. This is set in a wine merchants/art gallery. I bought a good bottle of white wine to take home with me from the wine merchant shop within the premises.
A really sweet little place with nice home-style food and friendly staff. All food was great but especially impressed with the lentil loaf (sounds unimpressive but that balsamic and red wine sauce is really amazing) and vegan sticky toffee pudding for pud. Excellent, by far the best place to eat in Fishguard! Book a table now
