I stepped in the cafe first time when I was about 6months in to my pregnancy. It was a beautiful day and my stroll took me out of my breath..When I walked in, it was almost noon, but I felt like having breakfast. Very specific, cheese and tomatoes croissant, with beans and hot chocolate. (I rather had coffee).This was not on the menu.I demanded it (well isn't that what you do when things are not on menu?).The waiter smiled and said she'll check with chef, 5 min later I had all that I requested.Whenever I walk past it, I get myself a cuppa.It is really the best.Oh, I forgot to mention. There is a beautiful collection of hard cover books. Ideal for idle evening or girlie brunch.
Hidden away under Hoyt's at the corner of The Mall and Jacobs St. You will find this lovely place. Peppertree is a cafe that has community focus for people looking to train up in the restaurant and food prep industry. My visits are usually early morning and regular for the coffee. And the occasional guilty pleasure of the sinfully yummy bacon egg roll which I get BBQ sauce. The Menu has good range to choose from and the staff are friendly. The walk-up window at the coffee machine is a treat. Enjoy your visit.
I used to have my counselling sessions at this cafe over some coffee, which says a lot about how comfortable and relaxed I found the environment to be. The staff are super friendly and they were very accommodating when I asked for something vegan. They ended up giving me a tasty and filling burger with chips on the side. It's a good place to wind down in the middle of the day.

Absolutely lovely burgers/ food at a very reasonable price. Coffee is some of the best in the area. I feel that the comfortable, modern atmosphere combined with the friendly staff makes this place a high priority for those looking for a enjoyable meal within the area.
This place in Gymea is a superb place to visit.Excellent food, service and ambience. Great coffee as well
