Peppino's has been serving delicious Italian cuisine since it opened its first location in Lake Forest in 1984. Since then, they have expanded with locations in Mission Viejo, Foothill Ranch, and a pizzeria in Aliso Viejo. The Foothill Ranch location is the centerpiece of their operations and uniquely offers table service among the options available. It's a fantastic spot for business lunches or birthday celebrations during the workday. The terrace seating is particularly delightful on a warm spring day. The staff is consistently friendly, making you feel like part of the family.
Food was amazing. Service was Excellent. I enjoyed the live band that was playing. The only negative was a drunk woman another customer that was entirely rude and put her purse and jacket on the table we were sitting at telling her friend that the seat was open and to sit there. When there was a table that was really open on the other side of us. Just because a chair isn't being used does not make it an available for anybody to sit at while having dinner. Despite the womans rude behavior she soon became part of the evening's entertainment. All and all I had a wonderful time!!!!
they serve good portions. service was courteous, with taking out a rather unfriendly host who sat us close to the car full of used dresses, although obviously there was a better table near. the mushroom marinara was slightly watery. the Clam sauce spaghetti paired with white wine is however commendable. music is good. a nice place to hang around with friends. they want the terrace with the cool summer air and the star night.
The pizza at this restaurant is excellent. Based on another critic's recommendation, I tried the thin crust pizza topped with paprika, mushrooms, and fresh garlic, and it was fantastic. The service was satisfactory, with a very friendly waitress attending to us. The decor, however, is quite ordinary, and the tables are closely arranged.

very welcoming environment, going for the first time and the service was top notch! spend a lot of time eating our meals and always watching to check on us. a waiter gave us almost another table after we ate, hon! but I felt satisfied and very satisfied with the place.
family belongs and runs. the same family has operated this place for about 30 years in orangenland. they will see in the rule the owner in the sea forest restraunt, that his baby I think. the best they can imagine how oma would do it.
The best thin-crust pizza you can find anywhere west of NYC! I highly recommend trying a large with Italian sausage, mushrooms, and fresh garlic. Absolutely amazing!
I would have given them a 5-star rating, but what kind of Italian restaurant does not have fresh parmesan? it is a shame to serve powdered parmesan cheese.
