I 'm not from Malaysia so I don 't have any baseline on the authenticity of the flavour but I loved it and can 't wait to come back.<br/ <br/ For entree we had the otak which is a seafood mix wrapped in banana leaves and the chicken satay sticks. Both were absolutely delicious.<br/ <br/ Next we had a Prawn Mee which was to my liking as it wasn 't loaded with salt. We also had the 'Pork Belly ' dish which had a nice gravy to it.<br/ <br/ The decor is very traditional and simple.<br/ <br/ The service was good.<br/ <br/ Overall I felt like I was eating some traditional home cooked meal that was delicious. I would say it was fair price for the quality of the food. We paid $60 for the two of us a...

This restaurant specializes in dishes from the 'Nyonya' Peranakan culture, which are attributed to Chinese immigrants who settled in the Straits of Melaka region, particularly in port cities like Penang, Melaka, and Singapore. I have not found any other place in Sydney that offers such a variety of these dishes. If I can't make the 9 hour flight to the source, this is where I come to get my fix. On my last visit, we tried the Pie Tie, Ayam Buah Keluak, and Achar. The menu leans more towards Singaporean-style dishes with options like Chwee Kway. While somewhat expensive, their unique offerings justify the price.

Love their durian pudding so much, so authentic and is real durian meat if you're craving for durian, this will be a must try dessert!! Otak Otak(minced seafood with spice) bring me back to the taste when I tried at Msia _so tasty. We love it's Ngoh Hiang (minced pork&prawns), not like other place too much pork belly, this place just make it right in everything! Laksa soup is so thick texture and delicious. Definitely will back to try their other dishes. Pls do remember to book in advance as they only open for 3 days in a week. Owner is very friendly

Had an excellent lunch at Peranakan Place in Auburn. Tried the char kway teow, ngoh Hiang, otak, prawn noodles, chicken rice, prawn paste chicken, nonya laksa, hokkien Noodles. All dishes were good and authentic. The place was pleasantly decorated. The service was very good.So far it’s one of the best Malaysian food I tried in Sydney.

This Malaysian restaurant offers delicious classic dishes. The shrimp paste fried chicken wings were crispy and full of flavor. The oyster omelette was generous with oysters. The Babi pongteh was good, but not exceptional. The roti was fluffy and buttery. The location, on a main road with no apparent parking, was a bit odd.

Great food, friendly uncle. Highly recommend this place for peranakan nonya food (a sub-cuisine of Malaysian). If you're not sure what to order the uncle can definitely help. Try the achar, nonya fish curry, pineapple prawns, curry laksa, and Hainanese chicken. TBH you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu!

Had the chicken briyani, Harmee dry and pie tee. Went with my girlfriend who is Singaporean and she confirms the taste is authentic. The owner claims this is the only real Singaporean restaurant in Australia. Will be coming back to try more dishes.
