Wir sind zum wiederholten Mal im grünen Papagei eingekehrt und es war mindestens ebensogut wie bei unseren früheren Besuchen. Freundliche Wirtsleute und freundliches Personal, man zelebriert die Zweisprachigkeit geradezu, eben so, wie sich das für Biel/Bienne gehört. Im Sommer gönnt man sich den Apéro draussen und draussen nehmen die Raucher bestens getrennt von den Nichtrauchern Platz. Herrlich der erfrischende 'Wasserdampf' an 30°C+ Tagen (schon gesehen in Italien und Frankreich, aber noch nicht in der Schweiz). An den Vorspeisensalaten gab's nichts zu mäkeln, sie passen hervorragend zur heissen Jahreszeit. Die entbeinte, gefüllte Wachtel war das reinste Vergnügen und die Kalbsnierenscheib...
Delicious food but a huge wait time. We arrived at 7:15 p.m., the starter was served at 8 p.m. and the main course at 9:15 p.m.…. Before having dessert we asked if the waiting time was also very long... and it was. Apparently it's a personnel problem (not enough employees... . So we left without dessert even though we really wanted it. It's still surprising to fill the restaurant to capacity if it doesn't follow me in the kitchen. Especially since we still pay a certain price for the dishes. It was better to fill the restaurant than half full in order to ensure service. All the tables next to me also complained. Restaurant not suitable for babies. There isn't even a changing table... Food: 4...
very friendly staff! eat perfect! wine card for acquainted! an evening in the cafè perroquet is like a week holiday in paris. also in the corona situation is a must visit! could I distribute stars this restaurant would have earned it. Yesterday I was back in caffe perroquet with my family. the food was a dream and the wine recommendation from the chef fits perfectly!! new has the perroquet vert has a terrace on the fountain opposite the caffe ambiente is incredible! a visit must! I was in france for hours.
Excellent for coffee in the morning, unfortunately disastrous for the meal this Saturday evening. Massive delay, neglected service and very limited prices for entries. Too bad because it was well cooked otherwise. It was exceptional, we were told. I will go back there to convince myself.

very nice place. eating is good. there is a very wide and good wine selection the interior design is beautiful and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. the service is unplacable.
