I had the opportunity to try Perso during 502 Restaurant Week and I was so glad I did. From the moment I was seated to the impeccable attention I received from wait staff was great. The restaurant was very cozy, lively, and inviting. I had the branzino dish made with European Sea bass which was cooked to perfection and a favorite dish of mine. I also appreciated the wine suggestion that I enjoyed along with my dinner of Sauvignon Blanc crisp and refreshing. I would highly recommend a visit to Perso for date night or time spent with friends and/or family. I highly recommend you visit Perso if in the Louisville area.
Perso is my top pick for anyone seeking a great dining experience in Louisville. I make it a point to visit at least once per season to sample their new menu offerings. I've brought along friends, family, and coworkers, and everyone has been thoroughly impressed. Even when the ingredients in a dish aren't typically what I lean towards, I always admire Chef Emil's thoughtfulness, creativity, and talent in crafting exceptional dishes. I've never ordered anything here that I didn't absolutely love. They also do a great job accommodating dietary restrictions, and their cocktail menu is outstanding as well.
Horrid food that we spent the rest of the night laughing about. The seabass was a sliver, paper thin and so full of bones, its a wonder we didn 't choke. The side was inedible with a weird flavor. The beef must 've been the last option in the kitchen, big bone and grisly, tough meat. The place itself and the staff are lovely. Unfortunately, the food was vile.
From the exceptional staff to the cocktails, starters entrees. Everything is always elevated! Chef David crew are amazing provide a culinary experience rivaled in Louisville which is no easy feat due to the ever growing food scene. We appreciate it all! Can't wait to return again! Overall, our experience was quite good, although it was a rainy day, and the restaurant felt a bit chilly, especially since we were seated near the door. However, the chef's table experience was exceptional. We enjoyed some of the best food we've ever had in Louisville. We highly recommend trying it!
We returned to Perso inspired by Resturant Week fixed-price offer...and memories of previous dining experiences. The table for two in kitchen area was perfect! Truly felt like we were dining in Italy. Staff are awesome...and food is creatively constructed and so tasty.
Very creative menu that is unlike any other in this area. The presentation is outstanding and the flavors are bold. There is a very upbeat ambiance that has a positive feel. The server was great and she was very knowledgeable . Look forward to coming back soon!!
The food was fantastic, as always! I really enjoyed the chefs' table served family style. However, the standout of our dining experience this time was our server, Marla! She was attentive and made our anniversary celebration even more special. Thank you!

Fantastic date spot. Food was incredible. We happened to have our reservation at 8pm as a snow front was moving through, we were sat by the window and it made for a lovely evening. We will definitely be back.
Food was overpriced and our meal was sub par at best. The tables were too close and to get up you had to bump the person behind you. We were very disappointed. The only positive was the server was pleasant.
