I had the opportunity to check out Perusa today. I took a friend of mine there for lunch. When we pulled up at about 2pm the parking mist was empty. Now we had both read about some iffy reviews but we were both foodies and said you know what this is not going to be our last meal so let 's give it a shot. The interior was clean and could seat about 30 guests. The waiter was cordial but spoke limited English. We were looking over the menu and noticed they were bringing food to an adjourning table. I stood up to take a look. He had ceviche and another plate of beef hearts. It was prepared beautifully. He said he comes twice a month. So I ordered the ceviche minus the tilapia. I don 't eat farm...
