Have to say this used to be the best ceviche spot in Montebello. I completely understand inflation but do they? Inflation is paying more for the same amount of a product, with the exception of gas. If you're going the lessen that amount of food but keep the price the same... You're no better than the big companies like Gatorade. If rather pay a higher price for the original serving size, than pay the same price and have them give me 1/3 less food. Long time customer thinking they're following suite like Bucanas, we all know what happened to that spot....
The seafood at this restaurant in the Montebello area is incredibly fresh and delicious. We've been visiting this spot for the past few years, and their fish and shrimp soft tacos, as well as the crispy shrimp tacos, are truly amazing. Everything we've tried here has been flavorful, including the ceviche, shrimp cocktail, and shrimp tostadas. The restaurant is small, but it's not usually crowded since most of their sales come from takeout. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by!
I visited the taco shop next door, and it was the worst experience I've ever had. The staff didn't speak English and ended up getting my order wrong. Despite that, I decided to eat what they gave me... only to find hair in my taco. I highly recommend avoiding this place. There are countless other taco shops in the vicinity, so just go somewhere else.
I walked in and asked if I could wash my hands before eating. The staff member told me that they don’t have a handwashing station or restroom available for customers. So, it seems you can eat inside, but there are no restroom facilities for customers. Book a table now
It's hard to find authentic A La Diabla shrimp, but these were perfectly spicy, just how I like them. I do wish the rice had been a bit softer, but I arrived a little late. Overall, the food and customer service were great!
The watermelon agua was delightful, and the shrimp tacos gobenedor were just as fantastic, if not better, than those at Mr. Taco in Riverside. The restaurant was busy, but the service was prompt.
I'm a big fan of ceviche, and I can be quite particular about it. However, this was the best ceviche I've ever had! I'm definitely coming back to this new favorite spot.
