Arrived 8pm and found a table quickly.Menus have a vast array on offer.I am always suspicious of menus that promise the world and deliver much less.Well we ordered entrees spring rolls and dumplings. Both arrived almost instantly and hot. But I think the microwave oven helped here. There was NO finesse to these and tasted out of the packet Not made on the premises. .Our Mains were a soup and deep fried fish.Again efficient delivery but the food taste and quality is low. .. I note others comments about having enjoyed delicious food but truly you could achieve similar results from a heat and eat packet anytime. So I don't get it when others write glowing reports and there is nothing backing up...

This place is just like any of the other generic Petaling Street restaurants in this chain. Just another asian eatery. The food was fine.Service was hopeless, with the usual casually employed Chinese students standing around but not actually being responsive and proactive to what diners may need. The icing on the cake was the manager-looking lady at the counter, who refused to help my group of 4 by splitting the bill. The restaurant was otherwise completely empty, yet she couldn't be bothered doing this for us.Well I won't be bothered returning if they can't be bothered making a small concession or bit of effort for their customer!

First time having a meal in this place. Had dinner with a group of friends. Located on the main street of the business district of Carnegie suburb.Only ordered a plate of Lobak for myself given had snacks in between lunch and dinner (ie not hungry). Lobak is nicely done and well presented. The taste is good. $6.90 for one plate which I think is more on the expensive side for an entree.Staffs are friendly and helpful. Place is kept reasonably clean. Complimentary tea and waitress helps to refill tea for us when running out.Overall, good experience at this place. Good service. Happy to return for meals in the future.

My wife and I or is that me and my wife were walking down Koornang Road looking for a bight to eat and wanted something easy and Petaling Street caught our eye.The restaurant is larger than you think, clean and brightly lit though rather boring in taste. There is a variety of food available and the service was OK though not the fastest or most enthusiastic that I have seen. The food we ordered was OK though I have had better elsewhere, the price was reasonable for what we got. Not sure if we will go back as Carnegie has a huge amount of eating places and we would rather try something else first. Book a table now

Warm & welcoming restaurant with enticing menu. Roti was freshly cooked and crispy, Kosong was unfortunately too oily.Curry Lhaksa broth was delicious but overshadowed by an inordinate amount of chicken off cuts, which did not make the meal enjoyable. One of those places which is cheap & cheerful as long as you are happy with dishes being not so perfect

we have been here a couple of times and it doesn't disappoint. If you are looking for a quick bite, lovely staff and variety in menus, Petaling Street is the spot. Price is very reasonable and the meals are quite big. A Malaysian experience just up the road. Roti with curry sauce is a great way to start the night....

The prawn noodles soup was OK. Soup a little thin, or full bodied prawn flavoured. Fresh prawns and a good size serving. Fried kway teow has small cockles and the bak poke which is the crispy pork fat. That is the best part. This dish...More

Lovely busy little Malaysian restaurant. Friendly staff who are efficient despite the fact that there's only a couple of them on the floor. Large choice of meals at very reasonable prices. Food is tasty. Book a table now

Good food, very feasible pricing and wide selection. Basic hawker cuisine. Service is ok but pretty much what you would expect from a cafeteria style venue.
