The service was awful. I'm not sure who our server was—she had long brown hair and was wearing a baseball cap. We walked in and stood around for five minutes while several waitresses walked by, completely ignoring us. When she finally seated us, she seemed irritated. We waited 18 minutes without her coming to our table, as she tended to every other table except ours. I used to love this place, but after this experience, I will never return. I ended up walking out. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant at all. I'm pregnant, and all I wanted was a burger.
This restaurant features a lively patio and a cozy indoor dining area with a bar. They offer a classic Iowa tenderloin served on a plastic tray, which brings back memories of county fairs. The waitstaff are cheerful and even sing along to the music, adding to the enjoyable vibe. The service is incredibly attentive. I wish I had discovered this place earlier; the atmosphere is happy and inviting, making me feel like I'm right back in Iowa.
I absolutely enjoy this restaurant! The staff is friendly, and the food really evokes the essence of true Iowa cuisine. Our favorites are the loose meat sandwiches and pork tenderloin sandwiches, but I've also had an incredible pork shank here. It offers genuine Midwestern quality and value. The music on the patio adds a lovely atmosphere, even though Gulf to Bay Blvd can be quite noisy! Plus, the prices are very reasonable.
I just discovered this restaurant today while searching for a great burger and a Jack and Coke, and it turned out to be amazing. The burgers were fantastic, and the cocktail was expertly made. The prices were very reasonable as well. It seems to be a favorite among the locals rather than tourists.

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, and the staff is consistently friendly. My only issue is that if the kitchen closes earlier than the stated closing time, it would be helpful to let customers know to avoid disappointment for those who arrive still hungry.
Pete Shorty's is my favorite bar and restaurant in Clearwater. The bartenders are incredibly skilled, attentive, and friendly. The food is excellent, and the clientele consists of locals with great humor. Additionally, the outdoor entertainment is fantastic.
I visit this place a few times a week. It's a fantastic spot to enjoy some ice-cold beer and catch up with friends. The menu is delicious, and the atmosphere is always lively and enjoyable.
ADDENDUM: The hours listed on Google and other sites are not correct. The kitchen closed tonight (4/27/24) at 9:00 PM, so it might be a good idea to call ahead.

The tenderloin sandwich was the size of a chicken strip, and the burgers were quite small as well.
