SUNDAY GRAVY meatball, sausage braciola over homemade pasta. Hands down they 've got the Best Balls in town. Tender. Simple eats. No frills. Straight up good food. The burrata and arugula wrapped prosciutto melted in my mouth... the colors on plate invite, seeing the vibrant arugula poking out of the prosciutto lured me to devour it. The burrata did not last long at our table the creamy cheese was tasty on its own or with the focaccia in our bread basket. our host, Peter, hustled around the restaurant, stopping to chat with regulars (and there are many), regaling our table with stories of other restaurants he likes to visit, telling us about the specials with specificity and his joint ventur...
Even though reviews were not so good, due to convenience we decided to try Peter's. It was beyond busy, and we had to wait for our reserved table. We were eventually led to our table but needed to get on our tippy toes to squeeze by the other tables as they were crammed in super close together. I can't believe they were in compliance with fire code with all those people and tables in such a small restaurant. As soon as we sat down, a cold, stale roll was placed hurriedly on our bread plates no butter offered but there was olive oil on the table. Looking for Italian Millburn? There are 2 better restaurants that fit the bill (Cara Mia and Basilico) First, the restaurant is small and it had original tile ceiling which is charming to look at but what that means is it's quite loud in the restaurant. The service isn't great as nobody opened our wine bottle and we got a dirty glass. It's not kid friendly as they didn't possess a high chair (although my toddler did fine). The food tastes good but portion size is like half of comparable restaurants. The tiramisu is good as is the pasta. The meatballs looked good. Our table wasn't level which annoys me.
Valentine’s Day they seemed to be overbooked food came at various times no one asked us for a reservation so even though we had one they seemed to be seating anyone who walked in and therefore they seemed overwhelmed ran out of foods never got to desert etc. could just be a everyone’s experience on Valentine’s Day maybe not wise to go out anywhere on that day.

Extremely friendly owner, he greeted me and my guests and came back to the table often to see if we needed anything. This in addition to the server. BYOB. Service is very good. The food was good, not mind blowing good. Clean, quiet. I'd come back just say hello to the owner again.
Food was good (not great), service was fair food was over priced for quantity quality. My husband I have a lot of experience in eating in high quality restaurants we were disappointed. We probably wouldn't go back again
Very disappointing. Portions were incredibly small and the wild boar had no more than a tea. Spoon of meat. When I mentioned it to the owner he looked confused and said it was all preweighted. I will not return.
Great food and service. Loved everything we tried. Our waiter was attentive but not intrusive. Would definitely return.
