It used to be the best place around and my go to place. However, it started to be worse and worse. First the meat quality dropped, but it is still acceptable, but I would say more on pair with other kebabs around, but then portions started to become smaller, and now these are ridiculous. In the past when I ordered a kebab I was not able to finish it because I was so full, now the amount of meat is so tiny, that I would need to order two kebabs to get full. Absolutely not worth it. Work for NHS wanted to get some chips and a scallop batch. Went in to order from countrer at 8.30pm was told did you come to pick up and Order via click and collect I said no. Stood in que waiting to be served. Waited half and hour. When got to till was ignored by the staff at the counter. She went to serve other people that were behind me in the Que. Waited another half an hour. Still ignored by staff. Shouted lost my custom now. Won’t be coming here again after you keep ignoring me and wont serve me.
Used to use this chippy without question, however now .. even on arrival I noticed none of the staff, even the ones cooking weren’t wearing gloves or hair nets, then when arriving home with the food, the cod was disgusting, worst fish I’ve ever seen was like rubber and was a light pink colour with barely any batter, the battered sausage wasn’t cooked and the chips were basically white and cold, so so disappointing!! I’ll not be returning and wouldn’t advise anyone else to
Absolute primal customer service. Asked for the chips to be put separately from the meal (donor and chips) for dietary reasons. From the receipt I saw the staff had negated chips and charged for a whole portion of chips. Lack of common sense. When complained on the phone lady played the ‘rude’ card. Food was also cold, chips felt soggy and didn’t have the crispness they normally have. Customer service unable to take criticism on the phone.

Just got the family a meal in the last hour from Pete's Nuneaton. kebab was like a child's meal, medium fish chips x2 fish was like a fish bite chips were cold, gravy cold, 2x curry sauce and gravy all 3 lids were not on containers properly all leaked out. staff even got order wrong good job I checked before I left . Will not be returning for food again only to complain in person to say how poor this meal was for £24:99
Terrible service bad food. Always try and preorder there is no point as your always back of the queue and have to wait outside in the rain. Took nearly an hour from ordering meant to be fast food. This is not the first time. Always out of specials. Waste of time. Very greasy food. I keep giving it chances won’t be coming again. Staff never even spoke to acknowledge people coming. Rude.
Visited on Sun 19th March at approx. 6:30pm there was a que on arrival which didn't move very fast and was very disorganised. Ordered 1 x large bags of chips which I found overpriced and waited an additional 30 minutes for a bag of chips. unbelievable. No apology from staff it was so poorly managed. Will not be returning.
This is simply the best chip shop around. Chips are light, crispy and perfectly cooked. The fish is fresh and always beautifully cooked. Mushy peas are delicious. Sausage, not battered, always tasty. Portions are always plentiful

Ordered in the evening, queuing system very strange. Horrible, cold, dried -up food, rude staff- nothing positive about this place. Complete waste of time and money- will not be returning here.
I keep giving this place to second chance as it's good value for money. But sadly cheap prices don't equate too cold and inedible food.
