After a long drive from Warsaw we arrived in Hameln for an overnight stop and chose this restaurant from its no2 Tripadvisor rating. It certainly lived up to its reviews as both the savoury and the sweet pancakes a large selection of both to...choose from) on offer were delicious along with the local beer and all served at a very reasonable price. Its a beautiful old building with creaking floors , low beams and takes you back in time when sat inside. The only disappointment was that we didn't have time to stick around to have lunch the following morning as we just ran out of time and had to continue on with our journey. So I lived in hamlets for 3 years and never knew there was this place. I was here for the first time with family and friends and was really surprised. large selection of pancakes, I would never have thought that you can have pancakes with so many different options. the environment is really relaxing and romantic. this is the kind of place where I can imagine relaxing with a bottle of wine and tasting a pancake with other dishes. worth visiting if they happen to be in a hamlet.
Not pancakes as the English know them, but hearty and interesting fare with a huge variety of toppings. So many options it’s hard to choose. I settled for trout and horseradish and it was totally delicious. Someone also had fig, with goats cheese, and it...was also delicious.....I know because I tried it. Very casual eatery with friendly service and seating indoors and out in a small sheltered courtyard at the rear.
we have to go to a pancake! the old building with mice in the sparren (no real)!, the clenching, uneven floors, the decorations are wonderful. the pancakes (and potato buffer) are wonderful. whether sweet or hearty, they will be satisfied. prepare for a waiting period during the typical lunch break. the service can be a little slow, but that is because everything is freshly prepared! it is worth it.

have seen this restaurant during a morning walk and have returned to the first lunch. great sound. that was delicious. had pancakes with pifferling pills. the building dates from the year 1620 and the facility is great and welcoming. I arrived shortly after 12 and it filled quickly. many tables were already reserved. I'm not sure.
The place is very special, an old house which they renovate and it come out beautiful and authentic. The menu is very reach and gives a verity of options. we choose 2 place and both were excellent. the service was very good.
there are so many options of pancakes on the menu that it is hard to decide. there are sweet and hearty pancakes. the atmosphere is very nice and the service is super friendly. I'm coming back to the pancake house!
Super crocked house, adorable and charming. The restaurant are all about pancakes, in different styles. Recommended if you dont fancy a super heavy meal.
