On the restaurant terrace you have a beautiful view of the market square of Gengenbach. This is where you cook. The three mouthbags with onions were tasty, but also well paid with 16€. The baked trout was fresh and delicate, the potatoes of good quality, unfortunately somewhat too early taken from the steamer. The supplemental salad was also fresh and well portioned, but the salad sauce was somewhat too watery. However, the criticisms are understandable taking into account the extreme utilization of the kitchen on a sunny autumn Sunday.
