Also das Ambiente im Biergarten ist schön und auch das frisch gezapfte Bier war lecker- dafür gab es dann im ganzen einen Stern- denn das Essen war eine Katastrophe. Wir haben auf Borkum schon viele Restaurants ausprobiert und wollten heute nach einer Radtour mal im Biergarten einkehren. Fazit: einmal und nie wieder! Die Currywurst war vorgebraten und wurde ein wenig aufgewärmt, die Pommes waren ranzig- ungenießbar. Das Schnitzel war so trocken dass man sich mehrere Getränke dazu hätte holen müssen, gleiches gilt für den Backfisch. Da gehen wir doch lieber zu altbewährtem zurück- hierher nie wieder!
Invited by friends to Borkum for the weekend we dined at different restaurants on each occasion,the food was very good wherever we went.Our last evening(we were a party of 10} was reserved for Upholm Hof which had a menu- out of this world,,oh dear,where to start,what to eat.We all chose something different and the delight on our faces as we started eating was totally entertaining. The restaurant was cosy and yet "elegant",the tables beautifully decorated.The visit to this restaurant was one of the highlights of my visit to Germany.

The visit to this restaurant was one of the highlights of my visit to Germany.
The restaurant is a bit out of the city center but worth going to. Our best meal in Borkum. Much better experience than Alt Borkum which somehow is much higher rated. Food quality was excellent, good value for price. Nice that the sauces come on the side not drowning the food. 4 guests were impressed. The outdoor beer garden is also great on a sunny day.

Waren gestern dort,sehr gutes Essen Preise Ok !Auch die Band die gestern Abend Spielte, war super! Ein rund gelungener Abend! Heute Abend sind wir wieder da und hören uns die Band noch mal an! Kann ich nur empfehlen kommt alle Heute Abend ab 18:00 Uhr zum in den Biergarten. Auf ein leckeres Bierchen und gutes Essen
Einfach schade. Wir sind hierher gekommen, um eine Kleinigkeit zu essen, doch wir erahnten, was auf uns zukommt. Die Currywurst pommes was matschig und mit jedem bissen verging mir der Appetit. Eigentlich liebe ich es zu essen doch hier blieb der halbe Teller liegen.
Sehr gutes Essen zu attraktiven Preisen Der Biergarten ist ebenfalls sehr schön gestaltet. Ein Kinderspielplatz ist auch dabei sowie Alpakas für die kleinen Gäste.

Live Musik am 27.09.2025 war klasse! Bratkartoffeln mit Lachs für 11€ sehr lecker.
Günstigere Preise, hat aber was von Kantinenwirtschaft. Geschmacklich war's gut.
