I had a few days ago with some friends in the stable at 10.15 o'clock breakfast or at 11.30 a.m., because as long as it took until the breakfast was served. okay, except for one, that was already forgotten completely. also missing forks for the rührei as well as some eier. can happen once. the waiting period was also saluted to us by the fact that our predecessors had to consider this even longer. Thankfully, at least the drinks were served after 10 minutes - which was unkind, on the other hand, as they would have become cold again until the breakfast was taken. That's right. You could have ordered more. You must be aware that there can be (O-Ton) "a small price" if you want to drink a cappu...
we, family with 2 small children (3 and 5) were once in a holiday at the stable of horses and eating twice in the evening. first the food: super delicious. all made, highly recommended! very flexible for children's wishes (as everything is made fresh and self-made). the service was very nice and accommodating and ensures a pleasant and loose atmosphere. the restaurant itself is well maintained, clean and has a welcoming effect.When we are back on the borcum, we are definitely back in the stable.
as in any borkum holiday we spent another evening in the stable. with delicious beer, very good food and sea buckthorn snaps. my steak from the weekend menu was perfect and also the vegetarian eating of my girlfriend tasted, also for me as not vegetarian, very good.The service was as always super nice and has sweetened us with little sweating the evening. perfect for a relaxed evening in a relaxed atmosphere. we will come back in the next holiday of course!
every day at least one gluten-free cake: super! homemade brot, also available in the gluten-free variant: incredibly delicious. the dishes are interesting, fresh and especially really delicious. you realize that there is a lot of heart blood in the food, 0815 you don't find here. all workers, from the kitchen fairy, who really knows perfectly when eating gluten-free, to the waiters who can always, really always, change a word, make the stay unforgettable.

very nice people make and serve very good food and soak good drinks. you can sit out wonderfully and still is well protected against rain. It's a bit dark inside, but it's 100% rainproof. the services are just top, professional and still always good on it (how do they do that only)? the gin tonic card is incredible and my caipi was a dream. our eating was neat, but with nice people and great drinks, the packet is still great, we like to come back.
After we went to the bistro, the TOP review surprised us. the we served potato soup with crabs and also with salmon I can only rate with satisfactory. simply seasoned potato with some flour sweat. not finely tasted with cream and other flavors. overall therefore quite flat in taste. the service was friendly and attentive. if you look at the diner card, this is more local in the category bistro instead of restaurant.
at the stable yesterday evening. I had the borcumenical fish pot: well filled, the lachs a little dry the rest ok. from taste not bad, but a bit boring. ekkes hadbeef with roast potatoes and found it in order. my ice cream to dessert was a little disappointing only a little bit of ice. Also my gin tonic was served a little bit sweet: no lemon, gurke or other. positiw was prayed tonic.
Was on the island with some friends, returned to this place multiple times during our stay because of the great food, the nice atmosphere and the excellent service! They also try to provide food for people with all sorts of dietary wishes, such as vegetatian...and vegan options. I would highly recommend this place!
