Literally a breath of fresh air, in a charming little real village. Last night we stopped here for a night off from castles and touristed cobblestones, on our way to France. This hotel has an 1840 establishment sign on it, but seems completely modern, which was nice for a change. And also completely clean, with very tasteful sparse decorations. Unlike the Bavarian towns we stayed in, the air was clean and the night quiet, without trucks rumbling and braking and spewing exhaust all night. We had 2 rooms (1 for kids). The bathrooms were spotless and no mildew or residual smells. The beds were neither too hard or too soft, though maybe a bit firm for some side sleepers. The breakfast was very g...
The room was very spacious and clean. Although there was a gathering/celebration going on downstairs, we didn't hear anything at all. The breakfast and the dinner were of high quality and delicious. It's worth to stop by and simply have a meal there! (The road to the hotel must be incredibly scenic in spring because of those cherry and apple orchards along the road, and black forest in the background! Efficient and friendly staff :
Was welcomed by J. Hund family and felt like home. The place is so clean, cleaner than even some 5 star hotels with allot of car parking and nice breakfast. We were travelling from Switzerland to Hamburg, Germany and chosen this hotel to stay one night rest. Apple farms nearby and other cities as well nearby, obviously you need a car for easier transportation... Overall, will stay here if coming nearby the place and recommended
