I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since it opened. Danny, the owner, and his wife are genuinely wonderful hosts who never fail to impress. My wife and I always come here for the amazing pork chop cooked with the char bbq method, as well as the delicious fresh pickled carrots with cabbage. have the bbq pork chop from phamous vietnames restaurant in banktown and it was ok, it didn't blow me out of the park! the pig had the good smokey bbq taste, and was tender, but it was too oily and had too much fat. the egg was beautifully made, but the pickled vegetables did not really go well with everything on the teller. visually it looks great, but can be better. I would give this 3 stars of 5
my wife felt like com tam. She said it was good. I had com ga ro ti. in grunde huh. it was nice. the only thing I was not satisfied with was my ice cream. it was in a high glass, but they freeze it so much it looks like a full glass, but the drink comes only halfway on the glass and this is also with ice cream in it. eat well, but drink
Lives up to their name! One of the best com tam I've had and will be the new go-to place for me for this dish. Great flavours from the pork chop, slightly charred for that BBQ flavour, and the runny yolk on top of the rice. Quality food combined with the cheap prices make this place an absolute winner!

Came here to dine on Friday night, ordered the special beef ribs and the jam pork belly. Service was great, food at the time was amazing and very tasty. I would have given it 5 stars if my boyfriend and I didn't get extremely ill...afterwards. Both up all night being sick it was not very pleasant.
The broken rice with pork chop is delicious. The pork is flavorful and juicy, but the egg-cake was a bit dry. The grilled chicken and rice dish is also tasty. The Hue Spicy Noodle (Bun Bo Hue) is not as good as other places in the area. The prices are reasonable.

Best flavour pork chop and best cooking method (char bbq). Loved the pickles and pretty everything else about being there. Highly recommend. I went there because they said they had the best pork chop rice in Sydney and I was not disappointed.

Tried take-out from this restaurant for the first time today. The pork chop was delicious and had a flavor reminiscent of Vietnamese cuisine. The food was neatly packed separately, making it easy to heat up when taking it home.
The owner is friendly, and they have the best bun bo hue. Authentic tasting broth.
