We came for the Chislic and we weren 't disappointed. My daughter and I came for the weekend for girl time and we decided to go to the Pheasant for dinner. Waiter was new? But he was a peach, we ordered drinks and Chislic (The appetizer) we got drinks and our food came out next, when asked about the Chislic, he apologized profusely and asked if we still wanted it put in. I said yes please! Very Quickly there was lamb Chislic at our table. It was wonderful. The bartender was also the Hostess? Do you have reservations? was the question she asked. I am guessing staff didn 't come to work and she was doing double duty? Which we were grateful she was there, but RUDE? Food was great, our waiter to...
We were very disappointed when my children from out-of-state took me here for a special birthday celebration. Granted it was a week night, but the food was not flavorful; it was tasteless and cold, including all entries and sides. The hightlight was the SDSU student who was an excellent server.
Such a unique place to eat out! The food was great, the service even better. We were treated like family. Definitely coming back!
